URC Wins Eight Prestigious Accolades at Arabian Property Awards 2022-2023

United Real Estate Company (URC), a leading real estate developer in Kuwait and the MENA region, received “Best for Kuwait” awards in eight categories at the Arabian Property Awards 2022-2023 for its “Hessah District” project. The level of Awards was revealed at the official presentations and announcements on Thursday 6th October 2022 during IPA’s award ceremony that was held at the Habtoor Grand Resort, Dubai.

Now in its 29th year, the Arabian Property Awards, part of the International Property Awards (IPAs), presented URC’s Hessah District with “Best Mixed-Use Architecture” and “Best Mixed-Use Development” followed by the “Best Apartment/Condominium” for Kuwait with Byout Hessah and Hessah Towers respectively. The honors continued as Hessah Plaza received the “Best Leisure Development” along with the Hessah Work receiving the “Best Office Development” and Hessah Hub receiving the “Best Retail Development”. Additionally, recognizing the brand’s pursuit of ensuring a premium digital experience, the property’s dedicated site www.hessah.com was awarded “Best Developer Website” for Kuwait.

Out of the 8 categories in which URC won awards, 7 have been upgraded to a 5-star category, including “Best Mixed-Use Architecture” and “Best Mixed-Use Development” for Hessah District as a whole, “Best Office Development” for Hessah Work, “Best Leisure Development” for Hessah Plaza, “Best Retail Development” for Hessah Hub, “Best Apartment/Condominium” for Byout Hessah, and “Best Developer Website” for www.hessah.com. Of these, the last 6 were nominated to compete regionally for the ‘Best for Arabia’ awards, hence, the awards ceremony will take place in February 2023 at the Savoy, London, where the winners will be announced.

Judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts, the Arabian Property Awards focus on design, quality, service, innovation, originality and commitment to sustainability and cover 48 different residential and commercial categories.

This is URC’s second consecutive year at the Arabian Property Awards. Last year, the company won “Best Residential High-Rise Architecture” and “Best Residential High-Rise Development” for Hessah Towers, and “Best Architecture Multiple Resident” for Byout Hessah, as well as awards for the St Regis Marrakech Resort and the Assoufid Development in Morocco.
